Wuster is three enterprises combined
in one. This symbiosis allows solving a number
of problems described below. Solving these problems will lead
to tremendous competitive advantages.
The high cost of delivery significantly affects the final cost
of food. Reducing shipping costs makes the product cheaper
and provides an important competitive advantage.
In addition to the economic impact on the product, classical delivery has a negative impact on the environment.
Due to increasing demands for environmentally friendly supply chains, the cost of delivery will grow especially
for traditional logistics.
Delivery cost and sustainability issues:
The production site for the main ingredients for hot dogs will be located at a distance of less than 150 km from
the points of sale. Thanks to short delivery distances
and a simplified menu, we can deliver with small electric or hybrid vehicles. The use of innovative software
for smart routing will allow our transport to be fully used in both directions - delivery of products to the chain restaurant in one direction, collection of returnable packaging, documents and materials for production
in the opposite direction.
The specificity of the product allows the product
to be defrosted during delivery, which makes it possible to omit from freezing equipment in transport. This further reduces shipping costs. Initially, delivery from the cafe
to the end customer will be carried out both on its own and through aggregators. This will give us the opportunity to take advantage of marketing tools and the reach
of popular aggregators for promotion. It will also allow
us to test different green delivery options
for the “last mile delivery”.
Huge manufacturing factories are environmentally damaging, expensive to maintain, and require huge financial and time investments to run. The financial model of large-scale production requires maximum capacity utilization, which contributes to overproduction and the widest possible geography of supplies, which further exacerbates the impact on the environment.
Ecological and financial problem of the classical financial model of fast food chain supply
Today, we have a large number of startups interested
in developing innovative ideas in eco-friendliness
and sustainability. Regrettably, only a small fraction
of these technologies is available for testing and practical applications. Small businesses moving along traditional financial guidelines do not have opportunities
and the necessity to implement these technologies.
Due to their sluggishness and peculiarities of the financial model, big businesses are very selective
in the use of innovations. Such companies need
the technology supplied in a well-established stage
and in large volumes. For this reason, most startups cannot test their hypotheses in practice.
Insufficient number of enterprises to test green hypotheses and innovative technologies.
We plan to create a precedent for successful interaction with startups.
Our financial model requires the use of innovative technologies in many areas of business:
+Careful use and saving of energy resources.
+Green transport and routing software.
+Economical use of the labor force and proper
use of staff talents.
+Innovations in the field of product freezing
and defrosting, biological activity and food safety,
uch more.
By interacting with innovative startups in France
and Europe, we will be able to achieve a very productive cooperation.
By obtaining and implementing innovative technologies, we will be able to show that small and medium-sized businesses can and should be a practical driver
of innovation.
We propose the creation of small modular production facilities, which will be certified for compliance with EU quality and environmental standards.
Thanks to the modularity, our production will only grow when needed. This financial model does not require
the maximum workload of production, which prevents overproduction, reduces food waste and wasted resources.
Going forward, Wurster ERP will help us further reduce resource costs and control the environmental impact
of the product. This approach allows us to reduce
the harmful impact on nature and improve the quality
of production site management.
